The Mindfulness group therapy program supports individuals in developing greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, physical experiences, and patterns of behaviour. The group provides a safe and supportive environment where participants can learn practical mindfulness skills to become more present, reduce automatic reactions, and respond to experiences with greater awareness and intention.

Sessions draw from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), with a focus on developing skills to observe and describe experiences without judgement, remain present in the moment, and participate more fully in everyday life. Participants will have opportunities to learn and practise mindfulness techniques that can be incorporated into daily life and used to support emotional regulation and more effective responses to challenging situations.

Participants are encouraged to arrive on time and bring a journal for personal notes or reflections. Regular attendance helps build trust and cohesion within the group. Confidentiality, active listening, and mutual respect are essential to maintaining a safe and productive therapeutic environment. Light refreshments will be available during breaks.

Limited spots are available to maintain a focused and supportive group size. Early booking is recommended to confirm attendance.
